NEWS RELEASE <br /> January 10, 2018 <br /> MASON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS' OFFICE <br /> 411 N 5T" ST, BLDG 1, SHELTON, WA 98584 <br /> TO: KMAS, KRXY, SHELTON-MASON COUNTY JOURNAL, THE <br /> OLYMPIAN, SHELTON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, NORTH MASON <br /> CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, CITY OF SHELTON, ECONOMIC <br /> DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL, THE SUN <br /> RE: Point in Time Count of Homeless People <br /> On January 25th 5 non-profits (North Mason Resources, Community Lifeline, <br /> Crossroads Housing, Northwest Resources, and HOST), Veterans Organization, <br /> and Mason County Community Services are joining efforts to serve the homeless <br /> people of Mason County at four event locations. <br /> In Shelton, the event will be held at Community Lifeline, 218 N 3rd St, Shelton, <br /> from 11:00 a.m. — 6:00 p.m. In Belfair, at North Mason Resources, 140 State <br /> Route 300, Belfair, from 11:00 a.m. — 5:OOp.m. In addition, an event targeting <br /> youth will be held at Shelton Timberland Library, 710 W. Alder St. from <br /> 1 p.m. — 6 p.m., and an event targeting veterans will be held at Memorial Hall, <br /> 210 W. Franklin, Shelton, from 11 a.m. — 6 p.m. Free lunch will be provided at all <br /> locations and representatives from local agencies will be present. The annual <br /> Point in Time Homeless Census Count will be conducted at this time. <br /> Donations such as tents, sleeping bags, wool-blend socks, hats, gloves or <br /> mittens, and tarps are needed.
