MASON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> RESOLUTION NO. (gyp-qq <br /> A Resolution Adopting a Request for Variance from COVID-19 Phase 1 Recovery to <br /> Phase 2 Recovery <br /> WHEREAS, Mason County Community Services, Public Health opened Incident Command for support <br /> of COVID-19 response on February 24, 2020; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mason County initiated Area Command on March 4, 2020 to address COVID-19 <br /> response; and <br /> WHEREAS, Governor Inslee adopted Proclamation 20-25 STAY HOME — STAY HEALTHY on <br /> March 23, 2020 proclaiming a State of Emergency for all counties throughout the state of <br /> Washington as a result of COVID-19; and <br /> WHEREAS, Governor Inslee announced, on May 19, 2020, that Mason County is eligible to apply for a <br /> county variance to move into Phase 2. This is based on the new metric of <10 cases/ 100,000 <br /> population over a 14 day span.
